Rubber sheets

Depending on the intended application of the rubber sheets, the chemical composition of the working medium, its concentration, temperature, and other operating conditions, the sheets can be manufactured from different rubber compounds and in various dimensions.

  • Thickness: 0.40 mm to 10 mm
  • Width: 1000 mm (in exceptional cases, up to a maximum of 1400 mm)
  • Hardness: 30–90 Shore A
  • Surface: smooth, fine-patterned (textile-imprinted), or grooved (anti-slip)
  • Packaging: 10 m rolls

Types of rubber sheets

  1. General-purpose rubber sheets – NR/SBR quality, 60–70 Shore A, with good resistance to diluted acids, alkalis, and salts.
  2. Oil-resistant rubber sheets – resistant to mineral oils and greases, with an operating temperature range from -30°C to +100°C.
  3. Weather-resistant rubber sheets – with high resistance to atmospheric conditions.
  4. Waterproofing rubber sheets – for construction applications.
  5. Butyl and neoprene rubber sheets – with high chemical resistance.
  6. Abrasion-resistant rubber sheets.
  7. Food-grade rubber sheets – suitable for contact with drinking water and food.
  8. Electrically conductive rubber sheets – surface resistance Rp < 106 Ω.
  9. High-voltage insulating mats for transformer substations:
    1. 3 mm thickness for voltages up to 3.5 kV (breakdown voltage: 7.5 kV)
    2. 5 mm thickness for voltages up to 20 kV (breakdown voltage: 38 kV)
  10. Creping rubber sheets.
  11. Sponge rubber sheets.
  12. Reinforced rubber sheets – with 1, 2, or 3 layers of cotton fabric.
  13. Rubber-coated fabric – coated on one or both sides, for use in the footwear industry (ballet shoe production), hospital beds, and the manufacture of various products. Fabric types: cotton T21, T7, Segal.
  14. Membranes for the woodworking industry – for applying PVC to particleboard. High elasticity and tear strength, resistant to antifreeze and temperatures up to 80°C. Dimensions: 2–3 × 1450 mm; length available upon request.
  15. Rubber repair patches for conveyor belts – reinforced or non-reinforced. They consist of a 1 mm thick green adhesive layer specially designed for bonding and a black abrasion-resistant layer with a hardness of 55–65 Shore A.
  16. Two-layer rubber linings – for cold-process lining of drive drums in the mining industry. They consist of a 1 mm thick green adhesive layer specially designed for bonding and a black abrasion-resistant layer up to 10 mm thick.
  17. Rubber sheets for shooting ranges – strips for electronic targets and ballistic curtains.
  18. Rubber sheets for vacuum cleaner bags (seals).
  19. Rubber-coated fabric for ballet shoes.

Repair patches – Rubber sheets for conveyor belt repair

They are available as:

  • two-layer, non-reinforced patches, consisting of a green adhesive layer and a black abrasion-resistant layer.
  • three-layer patches, consisting of a green adhesive layer, a black abrasion-resistant layer, and textile reinforcement in the middle.

0.4 mm Rubber Sheet

Application: Used as a rubber seal for vacuum cleaner bags.

Manufactured from flexible rubber with a hardness of 45 Shore A, available in gray and red.

Dimensions:

  • thickness 0.3–0.4 mm
  • width 350–400 mm
  • supplied in rolls weighing approximately 15 kg

Other colors and dimensions are available upon agreement with the customer.

Creping rubber sheet

This rubber sheet is used in the production of clay roof tiles to create an imprint and give the tile its matte surface.

High-voltage electrical insulating mat for transformer substations

According to JUS Z.B1.304 – protective electrical insulating mat, or SRPS Z.B1.304.

Product characteristics – high-voltage insulating mat for transformer substations

  • for voltage up to 3.5 kV (breakdown voltage 7.5 kV) – recommended thickness: 3 mm. Standard dimensions: 3 x 1,000 x 10,000 mm
  • for voltage up to 20 kV (breakdown voltage 38 kV) – recommended thickness: 5 mm. Standard dimensions: 5 x 1,000 x 10,000 mm

Dimensions: dimensions other than the standard sizes are available upon customer request.

Surface: smooth on one side and finely patterned (textile imprint) on the other.

Hardness: 60–70 Shore A

Specific gravity: 1.4–1.45 g/cm³

Tensile strength: 11–14 MPa

Elongation: 500–550%

Color: as required

Each delivery is accompanied by the manufacturer’s internal test certificate.

Antistatic rubber sheets

  • surface resistance Rp ≈ 108 Ω

Electrically conductive rubber sheets

Surface resistance Rp < 106 Ω

The sheets are manufactured from NR, SBR, or other suitable rubber compounds depending on the intended application and specific customer requirements.

Hardness: 60–80 Shore A

Surface design:

  • finely patterned (textile imprint) on one or both sides of the sheet
  • grooved (anti-slip)

Packaging: in rolls of 10 m or longer, depending on the sheet thickness and customer requirements.

Rubber sheets for furniture manufacturing

The sheets are used in furniture manufacturing for applying PVC to particleboard.

Product characteristics

Membranes for the woodworking industry are used for applying PVC to particleboard. They are characterized by high elasticity and tear strength and are resistant to antifreeze and temperatures up to 80°C.

Thickness: 2.5–4 mm

Hardness: 40–50 Shore A

Tensile strength: 15–17 MPa

Specific gravity: 1.02–1.03 g/cm³

Waterproofing rubber sheet – Repanol

Rubber sheet, 0.8 x 1,000 x L mm, used for waterproofing between aluminum joinery and concrete walls. The rubber sheets offer good resistance to diluted acids, alkalis, and salts. Upon customer request, oil-resistant sheets and sheets with high resistance to weathering can also be manufactured.

Rubber sheets for electronic targets

Description: Manufactured as strips with dimensions of 1–1.2 x 240–245 x 4,500–5,500 mm. Other dimensions are available upon customer request.

The strips are manufactured from a blend of natural and synthetic rubber, ensuring high quality:

  • hardness: 60–65 Shore A
  • tensile strength: >17 MPa
  • elongation: >450%
  • abrasion: <150 mm³
  • color: black

The surface of the strips is finely patterned on both sides.

Packaging: individually rolled and then packed in boxes.

Manufacturing process: vulcanization on a rotary press, followed by cutting to the required width and length.

Application: Used at shooting ranges equipped with electronic target systems, for small-caliber pistols and rifles at distances of 25–50 m.

Rubber compounds

Tigar Technical Rubber has many years of experience in the development and production of rubber compounds. A wide range of rubber compounds in various grades is produced for applications across numerous industries and everyday uses, with operating temperatures ranging from -45°C to +150°C and hardness levels from 30 to 100 Shore A.

Various types of polymers and materials from leading global manufacturers are used in production. Production is based on the following types of elastomers:

  • NR – Natural rubber
  • SBR – Styrene-butadiene rubber
  • BR – Polybutadiene rubber
  • CR – Chloroprene rubber – NEOPRENE

We have a production line for mixing black rubber compounds, as well as a physically separate line for preparing white and colored compounds. All mixed compounds undergo quality control.
