Tigar Hemijski proizvodi d.o.o. Pirot is the youngest factory within Tigar A.D. although its roots and tradition date back almost to the very beginnings of this renowned Pirot-based company.

The history of Tigar’s chemical product range dates back to 1937.

Our product range includes industrial adhesives for the footwear, woodworking, construction, and mining industries; paints, varnishes, and coatings for metal, wood, and special applications; as well as thinners and auxiliary chemical products.

CONSUMER PRODUCTS

Consumer adhesives are products designed for repairs, DIY projects, workshop use, and everyday applications. They are formulated to be easy to use, safe to handle, and suitable for bonding a variety of materials. These adhesives are solvent-based.

Tigrokol PP-B is a universal contact adhesive based on polychloroprene and special resins. It is resistant to water, acids, gasoline, and oils. Tigrokol PP-B can be used for both “cold” bonding and “hot” bonding (activation of the dry adhesive film at a temperature of approximately 80°C). Tigrokol PP-B is suitable for bonding leather, textiles, wood, and paper.

Tigrokol P-5 is a contact adhesive based on polychloroprene and special resins. It is resistant to water, acids, gasoline, and oils. Tigrokol P-5 is suitable for both “cold” and “hot” bonding (heat activation).

Tigrokol P-5 is used as a single-component adhesive for bonding rubber, leather, and textiles. It can also be used for bonding edge banding in woodworking, PVC strips and films to wood and particleboard, as well as Vinas and Vinflex tiles to concrete.

Tigrokol PU-1 is used in the footwear industry as a two-component adhesive for bonding thermoplastic soles, all types of rubber soles (transparent rubber, hard or soft porous rubber), polyvinyl chloride (PVC) and polyurethane soles, as well as parts and profiles made of PVC and polyurethane.

Tigrostik EP STANDARD and EP 080 A,B are two-component, slow-curing epoxy adhesives resistant to water and chemicals. They are used for bonding metal, wood, glass, ceramics, rigid plastics, concrete, marble, and stone.

Primer SC 020 is used as a primer for metal surfaces prior to bonding with Tigrostik SC 021 and Tigrostik SC 022 adhesives.

Tigrostik SC 021 is used for bonding rubber to metal, fabric to metal, rubber to rubber, fabric to fabric, and rubber to fabric. It is a two-component adhesive. The second component is SC Hardener, which is added at 5% of the adhesive weight.

SC Hardener is a crosslinking agent used with Tigrostik SC-021 and Tigrostik SC-022 adhesives.

INDUSTRIAL ADHESIVES

Industrial adhesives are highly specialized chemical products designed for specific materials, manufacturing technologies, bonding strength requirements, and use under extreme operating conditions.

Tigrostik TA 010 is used in the footwear industry as a two-component adhesive for bonding shoe uppers to soles made of leather, Neolite, transparent rubber, and microporous rubber. In the production of shoe uppers, it is used as a single-component adhesive.

As a two-component adhesive, it is also used in small workshops for bonding foam to polypropylene and polyethylene, as well as in the construction industry for bonding PVC strips and mesh.

Tigrostik TA 010 I is a polychloroprene contact adhesive used as a single-component adhesive in the furniture industry for bonding veneer to particleboard and MDF. It is applied by spraying.

Tigrokol NR-2 is used in the footwear industry for bonding leather to leather, leather to textiles, and rubberized fabric to rubberized fabric. It is also suitable for bonding expanded polystyrene (EPS) to various materials where high bond strength is not required.

THINNERS

Thinners are solvents used to adjust the viscosity of adhesives, making them easier to apply. They are also used for cleaning tools and degreasing surfaces.

Tigrosol P is used for thinning polychloroprene adhesives.
