Products for the mining industry
Mill lining materials
Tigar Technical Rubber has developed its own technology for manufacturing large-sized rubber and rubber-to-metal products designed for the mining industry. A special range of products has been developed for lining ball mills used for secondary ore grinding, including lifter bars, cylinder lining plates, end liners, grates, corner inserts, and other rubber components.
Rubber coating of pump rotors and stators
These products are manufactured in various dimensions and are used for transporting aggressive liquids (solvents, acids, petroleum products), suspensions containing abrasive particles, sludge, etc.
Depending on their intended application, rotors and stators are rubber-coated using compounds based on NR, NR-SBR blends, NBR, CR, or IIR elastomers.
Manual rubber lining of various equipment components, pipelines, tanks, reservoirs, pump rotors, and stators, providing protection against aggressive substances.
Rubber repair patches for conveyor belts. The rubber sheets are available in thicknesses from 2 to 5 mm and widths from 100 to 300 mm, according to customer requirements.
Two-layer rubber linings
Two-layer rubber linings for cold-process lining of drive drums. Rubber material is also available for hot-process drum lining and autoclave vulcanization, with a thickness of 7–8 mm, a hardness of 65–75 Shore A, and high abrasion resistance.
Rubber-coated rollers
Product range
- Rubber-coated rollers: NBR, CR, CSM, NR/SBR, IIR, silicone
- Polyurethane-coated rollers
Rubber coating quality
Operating conditions determine the required characteristics of the rubber coating. The most commonly required properties include resistance to:
- abrasion
- deformation
- weathering and ozone
- paints and solvents, acids, alkalis, petroleum and petroleum products, oils, etc.
- low and high temperatures
- as well as electrical conductivity, antistatic, and insulating properties
Rubber coating surface finish
- Depending on operating requirements, the rubber coating can be finished with a cylindrical or crowned profile. The surface of the rubber coating can be turned, ground, or grooved.
- Rubber coatings are manufactured from natural or synthetic rubber, with a hardness of 25–100 Shore A, in accordance with JUS G.C4.071.
Dimensions and tolerances
- Maximum diameter of the rubber coating: Ø 1100 mm with a ground surface
- Rubber coating diameters greater than Ø 1100 mm are supplied without grinding
- Maximum rubber coating length: L = 7000 mm
- Maximum weight of a rubber-coated roller: 8 t
- Dimensional tolerances, marking, and delivery requirements are defined by the JUS G.C4.0712 standard.
