Establishment of the Tigar manufacturing workshop for the production of rubber products and rubber footwear – today’s Footwear Factory.

1966.

The Technical Rubber Factory began operations.

1988.

Certification of the Technical Rubber Factory according to SNO 9000 (Military Quality Control).

2003.

Implementation of the ISO 14001 standard.

2008.

Opening of the new Footwear Factory. Acquisition of the protective footwear range from the renowned manufacturer Hunter – the Century, Forester, and Firefighter brands.

2009.

Launch of the new Technical Rubber Factory. Acquisition of the Danish company Bilgutex. Expansion of the Tigar III industrial site.

2010.

Launch of the rubber recycling products facility. Implementation of the OHSAS 18001 standard.

2014.

Launch of the project for the construction of the Rubber Compounding Factory.

2015.

Corporate restructuring through the merger of the Footwear, Technical Rubber, and Chemical Products production entities.

2016.

The Rubber Compounding Factory was opened. 2016/2017 – The debt owed to state creditors was converted into permanent equity of Tigar a.d., after which the Republic of Serbia held a 42.20% stake in the company, while together with state funds, its total share amounted to 59.43%. The debt owed to state creditors was subsequently converted into permanent equity of the company. Following the issuance of shares, the Republic of Serbia, together with state funds, held a 61.09% ownership stake in Tigar a.d.

The debt owed to state creditors was converted into permanent equity of the company. Following the issuance of shares, the Republic of Serbia, together with state funds, holds a 61.09% ownership stake in Tigar a.d.

2019.

Corporate restructuring through the merger of the service entities Tigar Incon, Tigar Ugostiteljstvo, and Ti-Car Trgovine into Tigar a.d.

2020.

Transition from the SRPS OHSAS 18001:2008 standard to SRPS ISO 45001:2018 (Military Quality Control).

2023.

The debt owed to state creditors was converted into permanent equity of the company. The Republic of Serbia, together with its state funds, holds an 88.91% ownership stake in Tigar a.d.
